The Kremlin confirmed Putin’s meeting with Tokayev on November 9

Russian President Vladimir Putin will pay an official visit to Kazakhstan on November 9. About it reported in the Kremlin press service.
As part of the trip, Putin will meet with the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, with whom they will discuss issues of further development of bilateral relations, prospects for interaction within the framework of integration associations in the Eurasian space, as well as current regional and international problems.
The Russian and Kazakh leaders will take part via video conferencing in the plenary meeting of the XIX Forum of Interregional Cooperation between Russia and Kazakhstan, which will be held in the city of Kostanay. In addition, following the meeting, several joint documents are expected to be signed.
Previously, that Putin will visit Astana on November 9 on an official visit, reported press service of the President of Kazakhstan.
The last time negotiations between the presidents of the two countries took place on October 7 at Putin’s residence in Novo-Ogarevo. Then they, together with the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, launched the supply of Russian gas to Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. The Russian leader noted then that the country is open to international cooperation in the energy sector. According to him, the Russian Federation is aimed at meeting the fuel needs of partners from Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, as well as from other interested states.
