In his Telegram channel, the governor of the Penza region Oleg Melnichenko shared information about the citizens of Penza who are actively developing adaptive sports in the region.
Oleg Melnichenko notes that city residents have created an amazing project, initiating and developing adaptive sports teams for children with special needs. As a result, their initiative attracted attention and was nominated for the #WETOGETHER International Award.
The governor emphasizes that the ANO “More Than Sports” actively works not only with local children, but also outside the region. Residents of Penza organized sledge hockey teams in other cities, such as Kuznetsk, Saransk, Grozny, etc. They also managed to create special hockey and basketball teams in the city of Saransk.
Oleg Melnichenko expresses gratitude to his fellow countrymen who chose the path of helping special children and called on them to support them in the competition.
