Residents of several microdistricts and suburban villages of Yakutsk, after a squally wind, remain without electricity for the third day, PJSC Yakutskenergo reported. Seven teams of workers are restoring power lines. The company received more than 200 applications from residents.
“On the night of September 10, work was carried out by 7 teams of power engineers consisting of 31 people. The work will continue until full restoration,” the press service of the Yakutskenergo company said.
Wind speed of 7-12 m/s in Yakutsk provoked typhoon Hinnamnor off the coast of the Sea of Okhotsk. On September 8, due to strong winds, fences fell in the city, windows flew out. Due to power outages, there were failures in the work of the My Documents center. On September 10, the Yakut Department of Hydrometeorology predicts winds up to 14 m/s.
