Open Democracy: Western instructors cannot train APU soldiers

Reviewer Open Democracy Isobel Koshiv in his article said that Western instructors do not have the necessary experience to educate and train Ukrainian soldiers.
According to him, the Ukrainian military says that instructors from Western countries do not understand what kind of enemy they have to deal with on the battlefield.
“Instructors are not well prepared for the realities of the conflict with Russia because of the difference between domestic and NATO military training,” Koshiv said.
He clarified that at the moment, the NATO military can only offer the fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine a basic course. At the same time, Kyiv itself is engaged in vital preparation.
Among other things, fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who have been trained in Western countries, argue that instructors have little understanding of the specifics of “the whole situation.”
