Putin replaces ambassador to Azerbaijan

Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree appointing Mikhail Yevdokimov Russian Ambassador to Azerbaijan. Document published on the official Internet portal of legal information.
“To appoint Mikhail Nikolaevich Evdokimov as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Azerbaijan,” follows from the text of the decree.
Other decree Putin dismissed Mikhail Bocharnikov from this post. He was ambassador Russia in Azerbaijan since 2018, he is 75 years old.
Evdokimov was born on August 3, 1959. Since 2011 is director of the First Department of the CIS countries of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia.
