Indian summer in Moscow is expected only after September 10

In the first ten days of September, cold and rainy weather will continue in Moscow, the TASS scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia Roman Vilfand. According to him, from September 10, warming and the arrival of Indian summer are possible in the capital.
Mr. Vilfand also noted that, as a rule, Indian summer in Moscow ends in September. At the same time, according to him, in 2019 and 2020, warm weather, about 17 degrees, persisted in October. However, Roman Vilfand noted that this is an extremely rare occurrence for the capital.
The day before, August 31, Hydrometeorological Center informed about a sharp cooling in Moscow. Cold weather and precipitation in the capital have replaced the abnormal heat that was observed throughout the summer, especially in the last month. Forecasters called August 2022 is the hottest in the history of meteorological observations in Moscow.
