LE FIGARO. – War in Ukraine and geopolitical tensions, slowdown in China, explosion of energy prices, recruitment and supply difficulties… The clouds are gathering in this autumn. What is your feeling?
Geoffroy ROUX DE BEZIEUX. – I note a growing gap between the positive sentiment of entrepreneurs, as shown by our Ifop survey on the morale of business leaders, and the very gloomy macroeconomic indicators. The bosses are certainly more worried about 2023, but their morale is resisting because the activity is holding up except for a few sectors, such as the automobile, in full change of model, and the building, which suffers from the declines in construction in the new and the tightening of real estate loans. But I note that the more the crises follow one another, the more the companies become resilient.
