Alfa-Bank again sued Svyaznoy – this time for 8 billion rubles

According to the first claim, the amount of claims is 7.67 billion rubles. The third party in the case is the operating company of the retailer Set Svyaznoy LLC. The Russian office of the South Korean electronics manufacturer Samsung, Samsung Electronics Rus Company LLC, was involved in the second lawsuit, in which the bank demands 548 million rubles from the defendant. There are no other details on the claims in the CAD.
Both lawsuits were filed against DTS Retail as a guarantor for loans that the bank issued to Svyaznoy Network, a representative of Alfa-Bank confirmed to Vedomosti. Representatives of Svyaznoy and Samsung declined to comment.
