Director of Rossotrudnichestvo Evgeny Primakov has been included in the Presidential Council for Interethnic Relations. The corresponding decree was signed by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. The document was published on the legal portal.
Evgeny Primakov has been director of the Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Living Abroad and International Humanitarian Cooperation since June 25, 2020. Prior to that, he was a member of the State Duma of the Russian Federation.
The decision to include Yevgeny Primakov in the Council is connected with the need to represent in this body an official responsible for the areas of work with compatriots and with the CIS countries.
