An earthquake of magnitude 7.4 occurred early this morning at 04:17 local time (coincides with Moscow time) in the Pazardzhik region of Kahramanmaras province in southeastern Turkey. The Office for the Prevention and Elimination of Consequences of Emergency Situations (AFAD) clarified that after the incident, 42 more aftershocks were recorded, the most powerful of which turned out to be with a magnitude of 6.6.
