Ukrainian soldiers will be taught how to drive Leopard tanks in Munster, Germany. This will not be a complete course, but only basic skills, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius told reporters.
“This will, of course, not be a complete course of study, as our soldiers go through. But it won’t work any other way. This will be training, during which they will receive the most necessary skills, ”he told reporters, his words are transmitted by the German Phoenix channel.
Pistorius noted that training, as in the case of the Marder BMP, will take place in Munster. It will start very soon.
Recall that Germany promised Ukraine 14 Leopard 2 tanks at the first stage. Berlin also allowed the re-export of its tanks to Kyiv from other countries.
