The head of state also announced the extension of the Clean Water project, which is designed to provide citizens with high-quality drinking water. “For many of our cities and settlements, this problem is extremely pressing,” the president said.
The President announced plans to provide gas to Yakutia, Buryatia, Karelia, Khabarovsk, Primorsky, Transbaikal Territories, Amur, Murmansk Regions, the Jewish Autonomous Okrug and Krasnoyarsk. “We will also supply the Kamchatka Territory and some other regions of Russia with the help of LNG,”— said Vladimir Putin. This, according to the head of state, will allow expanding the social gasification program. The President noted that the social program does not apply to gardening partnerships and called for solving this problem. Also, residents of remote northern and Far Eastern territories, to which the gas network has not yet been reached, will receive government support measures. “First of all, the families most in need should receive support. We will allocate an additional 32 billion rubles for these purposes,” summed up the head of state.
