“36.6” bought the Ramenskaya pharmacy chain “Farmakon”

One of the largest Russian pharmacy chains, 36.6 (brands 36.6 and Gorzdrav), bought Farmakon, which operates 18 pharmacies in Ramenskoye (Moscow Region). According to RNC Pharma Development Director Nikolai Bespalov, the purchase of the Ramenskaya network could cost 170-210 million rubles. excluding debts and other encumbrances. He explains the choice of an asset for absorption by the fact that “36.6”, according to its strategy, selects regions where it has not yet been widely represented, and where it has growth prospects, as in Ramenskoye.

At the same time, the activity of transactions on the pharmaceutical market is very low at the moment, Bespalov noted. As a rule, large networks, if they acquire assets, are relatively small, pointwise increasing their presence in specific places, he says. This policy is due to the desire of companies to minimize risks, while maintaining the possibility of expansive growth.

JSC Farmakon was established in 1999. At the end of 2022, the chain’s revenue increased by 4%, to RUB 771 million, according to SPARK-Interfax. The company’s net profit for the last year amounted to 38.8 million rubles. At the moment, the owners of the network are not disclosed. According to Spark data for 2019, 75% of the shares in the company belonged to Tatyana Kovalenko. The company did not respond to Vedomosti’s request.

Pharmacy chain “36.6” was founded in 2002. Today it has 1,917 points in various regions of Russia. The company’s total revenue with VAT increased by 26.5% in 2022 compared to the same period last year and amounted to 67.3 billion rubles, it was said in its release. The shareholders of the company are not exactly disclosed. In the summer of 2019, she herself reported that 29.97% of her shares belong to the investment company Altus Capital.
