Entrepreneurs in the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics and the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions will receive 300 million rubles. for the implementation of socially significant projects, reported in the press service of the Russian government.

Funds will be sent to entrepreneurs this year as part of the grant support program for SMEs implementing socially significant projects in new regions. Companies that provide social services or work in the fields of medicine, education, culture, sports and the hotel business can apply for funding.

The maximum grant amount is 300,000 rubles, the government clarified. The money can be used for renting and repairing non-residential premises, re-equipping cars for transporting disabled people and people with limited mobility, and for purchasing raw materials and consumables for production.

Financing, as stated in the Cabinet of Ministers, was allocated from the national project “Small and Medium Enterprises and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiatives.”

In June, the head of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia Maxim Reshetnikov and the chairman of PSB Bank Petr Fradkov signed agreement on the launch of preferential loans for entrepreneurs of the DPR, LPR and Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. Then it was reported that preferential lending would be the first stage of state support measures for small and medium-sized businesses launched in new regions. Under the terms of the program, entrepreneurs in new regions will be able to receive a loan for any business purpose up to 50 million rubles at a rate not exceeding 10% per annum. Loan term – up to 3 years.
