21 foreign companies relocated to Kazakhstan in a year

In 2022, 21 foreign companies relocated their business to Kazakhstan, said press office governments of the country. They added that 13 companies are working on such a possibility, and with another 28 “an active negotiation process is underway” on this issue.
In particular, the American company Honeywell launched the production of gas analyzers in Atyrau and cabinets in Almaty. In addition, Ural Motorcycles localized the production of heavy-duty motorcycles in Petropavlovsk, and the British Weir Minerals opened a production center in Almaty.
In August, the authorities of Kazakhstan spokethat are working on the relocation of more than 250 companies that have left Russia. In October, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev declaredthat 56 international companies moved from Russia to Kazakhstan. He called for the creation of conditions for the relocation of companies from other countries.
