On Saturday morning, 2 ballistic missiles were shot down over Crimea, the head of the Crimea, Sergey Aksyonov, said on his Telegram channel.
According to him, the missiles were launched by the Ukrainian armed formations with the help of the Grom-2 operational-tactical missile system.
“As a result of the attack, there are no victims or injured,” Aksyonov wrote.
He also urged all residents and guests of Crimea to remain calm and trust only trusted sources of information.
Earlier, Acting Governor of the Kherson region Volodymyr Saldo said that at around 5 a.m., the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched a missile attack on temporary accommodation points on the Arabat Spit. One woman is known to have died. Presumably, Anglo-French Storm Shadow missiles were used during the attack. The balance is also that at night the settlement of Iron Port was also fiercely shelled. One of the local hotels was destroyed.
On Friday, the same Storm Shadow missiles were used to strike a children’s recreation center in the Genichesk district, where evacuees from the flooded areas of the Kherson region were also stationed. Basically, these are women, children and the elderly.
