But besides this, the author of the publication believes, the decision to provide F-16 fighters will be a clear signal of how seriously the international community is ready to provide military assistance to Ukraine.
The publication also cites the opinion of the representative of the Ukrainian Air Force, Yuriy Ignat, who believes that only a few months will be enough for a Ukrainian pilot to master the F-16 and this will allow the Ukrainian troops to launch a counteroffensive, the prospects of which are still very vague. In addition, Kyiv considers the F-16 aircraft as a means of destroying air targets, in particular, missiles that destroy the energy infrastructure.
