Deputy Head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade Alexey Besprozvannykh said that it is planned to allocate 12 billion rubles to support enterprises of the DPR and LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. A total of 160 enterprises were launched in new regions. Russian authorities intend to open another 37 in 2024.
“We have launched 160 enterprises to date. These are the enterprises that basically stopped working due to military actions and the policies of the Ukrainian authorities,” Mr. Besprozvannykh said at the “Integration 2024” forum (quoted from TASS).
Thanks to the launch of production, according to him, 11.5 thousand jobs have appeared in new regions. The remaining enterprises are located in the combat zone, so they are planned to be launched as soon as possible. The main industries in these regions are mechanical engineering and metallurgy, the deputy minister added.
He recalled that 2 billion rubles were allocated last year through the established industrial development fund. “This year – 5 billion rubles, we will support 50 projects. Total 12 billion rubles. for three years,” said Mr. Besprozvannykh.
