Indexation of social benefits in Russia from February 1 will be 11.9%, 152.4 billion rubles will be allocated for it, reported press service of the Ministry of Finance of Russia.
“The indexation will affect more than 40 measures of social support for the population, including a monthly allowance for child care, monthly payments to the disabled, veterans and Chernobyl victims, and a monthly insurance payment,” the report says.
The amount of maternity capital for the first child will be increased to 587,000 rubles, for the second – to almost 775,600 rubles.
According to Rosstat, inflation in Russia in 2022 will amounted to 11.94%. Prices for services increased the most – by 13.19% by December 2022 compared to the same period in 2021. For non-food products, the increase in prices was 12.7%, for food – 10.29%.

On November 30, Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov told TASS on the sidelines of the Federation Council that the increase in public sector salaries in 2023 will will be more than 8%, pensions, as planned, will increase by 1000 rubles. The Minister also added that the salaries of law enforcement officers and the military are growing at a slightly faster pace. These indicators are included in the federal budget for 2023-2025, he stressed.
