The Biysk oleum plant in the Altai Territory, which produces explosives, will receive 15 billion rubles, the funds will be used to increase production capacity, said Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Trade and Industry of Russia Denis Manturov.
Manturov said that today, August 19, he visited the enterprise together with Governor Viktor Tomenko. The Deputy Prime Minister planned to get acquainted with the progress of the investment project to increase the plant’s capacity.
“We recently made a decision to allocate almost 15 billion rubles. on the development of new directions in explosives. I made sure that my colleagues prepared well for the implementation of this investment project,” said Minister (quote from TASS).
It was agreed with the management of the plant to increase the wages of the employees of the enterprise by 30%, this should happen “in the coming days,” Manturov added. Now the average salary of specialists and workers is 43,000 rubles.
The Biysk Oleum Plant has been operating on the specialty chemicals industry market since 1965 and specializes in the production of explosives and chemical products. The production of industrial explosive materials was established at the enterprise in the 90s.
