In Rosaviatsia reportedthat the attack of drones in Moscow and the Moscow region resulted in temporary restrictions on receiving and sending flights at Vnukovo and Domodedovo airports. For this reason, ten aircraft landed at alternate airfields.
“Due to restrictions at alternate airfields, ten aircraft landed. The crews of six more aircraft in flight recalculated the routes, changed flight plans in agreement with the dispatch services, and after the lifting of restrictions on the use of airspace, they landed at destination airports,” the press service of the department noted. The restrictions were lifted at 5:25 Moscow time, the federal agency said.
Previously reportedthat due to UAVs seen in the sky over the Moscow Region and the operation of air defense systems, landings of 20 flights were delayed in Domodedovo, and nine flights in Vnukovo. In addition, the departure of three flights to Vnukovo was delayed.
