Representatives and defenders of Zoom did not come to the court hearing, reports Interfax. The company was first fined for refusing to localize the data of Russians in July 2022. Fine amount amounted to 1 million rub.
On October 17, the magistrate will consider the protocol regarding Zoom under the landing law (Part 2 of Article 13.49 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation). An American company faces a fine of 1/15 to 1/10 of revenue, but not less than 6 million rubles.
In addition, the same judge Timur Vakhrameev today, October 12, fined the e-sports platform Face It Limited for 1 million rubles. for refusing to localize the data of Russian citizens, Interfax reported.
