Yuri Solomin lost consciousness on the street

The details of what happened to People’s Artist of the USSR, artistic director of the Maly Theater Yuri Solomin have become known.
This morning he left the house to go to the theater, as usual, when he suddenly lost consciousness. The driver called an ambulance, and the legendary “adjutant of His Excellency” was taken to the Botkin hospital.
In general, there were no signs of trouble. Two days ago, Solomin was at the launch of a new play, which Andrei Zhitinkin began preparing in Maly.
“I will stage “Drama on the Hunt” based on Chekhov (although the play will be called “My Tender Beast”),” director Zhitinkin told “MK” – Yuri Methodievich came to us
at the reading, I was in a good mood. He joked a lot, but he promised to arrange a dressing down at the school – although I don’t know for what reason.
“His blood vessels are out of whack, so he loses consciousness,” commented our source from the theater. “He should go to a sanatorium, but he worries about the theater and doesn’t go to bed to maintain his health.”
