“Yandex Music” blocked the profile of the author of the song “Can I be with you”

Yandex service (MOEX: YNDX) Music” has limited access to the page of the Belarusian artist Ap$ent (real name Arseniy Kislyak), this was noticed “Vedomosti”. When you go to the artist’s profile, a notification appears: the page is unavailable at the request of Roskomnadzor.
A representative of Yandex Music told Vedomosti that on March 27, the service received a notification from RKN with a requirement to limit access to the artist’s profile. Yandex Music appealed to the department and the Prosecutor General’s Office for an explanation of the reasons. On other music services, including VK music, MTS music and Sound, access to the Ap$ent page is not limited.
Arseny Kislyak is a musician from the Belarusian Mogilev. He gained popularity in 2020, after the release of the song “I Soap and Pray.” In July 2022, he released the song “Can I be with you.” The track is included in the top charts of Russian music services, and the video with the song on the artist’s YouTube channel has received 7.3 million views. The song was written after Arseny Kislyak left Belarus with his wife, who was sentenced to restriction of freedom due to insults of Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.
