Wildberries announced the reopening of 15 pick-up points (PIUs), which were suspended for several days amid a dispute between the online retailer and the owners of the points.

“We are talking about partner points for issuing orders, cooperation with which was previously suspended due to a violation of the offer,” he quotes RBC statement of the press service of Wildberries, made following the meeting of representatives of the marketplace, the PVZ initiative group and State Duma deputies. At the same time, the points of issue of orders will be able to continue working only if the offer agreement with the company is observed.

Since March 9, Wildberries has introduced new rules for pickup point owners. They were going to be charged the full cost of the order if a defect or other product was found when it was returned to the warehouse.

In response, the owners of the Wildberries pickup point went on strike demanding that the fines be canceled and the money paid back. It was reported about the temporary closure of a number of pickup points in St. Petersburg, Barnaul, Yekaterinburg, Irkutsk, Bratsk, Ust-Ilimsk, Angarsk, Chita, the Trans-Baikal Territory, Buryatia, Vladivostok, Blagoveshchensk. The Wildberries denied reports of a strike by the owners of the pickup points, and also stated that cooperation with “partners” choosing “uncivilized forms of dialogue” would suspended.

The company later announced cancellation more than 10 thousand fines already issued to the owners of pickup points. The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Russia specified that Wildberries promised to suspend the imposition of new fines on the owners of points of issue of orders.
