VTB intends to offer brokerage services to legal entities in 2024. This was announced by the head of the bank’s corporate and investment business unit, Vitaly Sergeychuk, at the “Russia Calling!” forum.
“This will allow legal entities, independently or using investment consulting services, to quickly and effectively manage liquidity and risks in the stock, derivatives and money markets,” said Mr. Sergeychuk (quoted from TASS). He noted that legal entities will have the opportunity to place available funds through repo, trade securities, and also hedge currency risks with futures contracts on the Moscow Exchange.
VTB sees “quite stable demand for brokerage products from potential corporate clients.” Mr. Sergeychuk noted that many company leaders “have their own positive experience of investing in the financial market.” The top manager is confident that they will be interested in working with the VTB broker and the companies they head.
