Over the next three years, VTB plans to increase the number of salary clients served by at least 40% – from 8 million to 11 million people, said Georgy Gorshkov, Deputy President and Chairman of the Board of the Bank, as part of VTB Strategic Week. For clients who regularly receive salaries or transfer them to accounts at VTB, the bank will cancel fees for services in self-service devices and for all transfers by phone number through SBP in the amount of up to 1 million rubles. per month.

In 2024, VTB plans to restructure its work with employing companies to serve the individual requests and needs of organizations. Salary clients will receive more favorable conditions for both loan products and deposits. Last year, the bank simplified the operation of banking systems for accountants, speeding up the processing time for requests. Now, through remote service at VTB, you can make payments to employees who receive salaries in different banks.

“The salary projects market today is very competitive, so we will continue to provide clients with profitable services 24/7. The development of these projects will be one of our principal tasks for the next three years, during which we intend to increase the number of payroll clients by 40% – to 11 million people,” said Georgy Gorshkov.

At the end of 2023, the number of VTB salary clients increased to 8 million people who work in 100 thousand Russian companies. Over the past year, the figure increased by 10%. The amount of salary payments to employees of partner companies in 2023 exceeded 5.4 trillion rubles.
