During her long career, Alla Pugacheva performed songs based on the verses of many famous poets. In conversation with Prozvezd.info Voropayeva said that Pugacheva acquired the rights to the song of the poetess and Arkhipov while preparing for her anniversary concert. As the close circle of the Primadonna told the poetess, the composition was in the concert program almost until its last version.
However, according to Voropaeva, the singer at the last moment decided to focus on the social sphere in the block of new songs, and her song with Arkhipov, in turn, was “about great love.” She does not know if this was really the case, but the poetess was told this version of events.
Voropaeva regrets what happened, because “without false modesty” she can say that it was a “masterpiece” song, very interesting melodically. She stressed that she even made an interesting “poetic discovery” in it. The poetess added that the authors of the composition, of course, wanted Pugacheva to “give it to people”.
