The revenue of the VkusVill retailer in 2022 amounted to 204.8 billion rubles, which is 26% more than a year earlier. Revenue from online sales increased by 77% to RUB 79 billion. Its share reached 39% against 27% in 2021.

The number of delivered goods has doubled to 70 million. VkusVill notes the popularity of paid express delivery, which accounts for about 10%. “We are developing with our own money, our delivery is profitable, which allows us to continue to grow, open new stores and improve service,” says Alena Nesiforova, manager of the VkusVill unified concept (quote from RIA Novosti).

In 2022, more than 100 stores were opened in Orenburg, Murmansk, Arkhangelsk, Chelyabinsk, Adler, Izhevsk, Murom, Kingisepp, Pyatigorsk and Stary Oskol. In total, the company now has more than 1,300 stores and 120 dark stores in 70 cities. The growth of offline sales in the regions amounted to 18%, online – 86%.

According to Infoline forecasts, in 2023 in the Moscow region there will be a noticeable decrease in the growth rate of food delivery due to market saturation and the outflow of some active users. In Moscow and the region, the growth in the turnover of food delivery services in 2023 may decrease to 40% from more than 50% at the end of this year, and in the whole country – up to 44% from about 60%.
