The social network “VKontakte” announced a change in the rules for managing communities (publics). From the new edition rules The limit on the number of direct-to-post ads has been removed—communities could previously post no more than five posts per day with direct or native ads. VKontakte also noted the ban on advertising in pinned posts.
“At the same time, the algorithms will monitor the number of advertising posts in the feed,” the press service said in a message received by Kommersant.
“VKontakte” also removed the ban on a sharp change in the subject of the community, but left some restrictions. So, you can not change the topics of communities to political, commercial and pornographic, and you cannot transform existing communities into official communities of organizations. The ban on changing topics remains for communities whose content consists entirely of contests.
