VK (MOEX: VKCO) announces the acquisition of 100% shares in the YCLIENTS group of companies, the largest Russian platform for online recording and business automation in the service sector, follows from a message received by Kommersant.

YCLIENTS develops cloud products for business automation in the service sector: Arnica, Denta, SQNS, as well as the YCLIENTS platform and the mobile application for online booking YPLACES. According to our own data, more than 45 thousand representatives of medium and small businesses conduct their activities with the help of YCLIENTS. Every month the platform processes more than 18 million records for service industry specialists. The products are widely represented in the beauty, health and sports segments, and have growth prospects in other areas such as leisure, education, auto and retail.

The purchase of YCLIENTS continues the implementation of VK’s strategy in the segment of medium and small businesses, the holding expects.

“Seamless integration of YCLIENTS services into VK platforms will allow medium and small businesses to increase conversions and provide new tools for business development. Companies will be able to integrate the online registration service into their communities on VK social networks, connect the checkout service, a feedback system and other functions that are in demand for business,” notes the VK message.

Users of the VK social platforms will be able to sign up for services from specialists, for example, a beauty salon or a fitness club, from the community page or from the messenger, share feedback, and make payments safely and quickly.

Why the holding is buying new platforms – in the material “VK is looking for an extra ticket”.
