“Victory” allowed to carry ladies’ bags of any size in hand luggage

“Victory” by decision of the Supreme Court softened the rules on the carriage of hand luggage. The airline will exclude the indication of the dimensions of the handbag and briefcase, thus fulfilling the instructions of Rostransnadzor. The general approach to baggage and carry-on baggage on Pobeda flights will not change.

As stated in the press release, the low-cost airline will exclude the indication of the dimensions of the handbag and briefcase, which are transported in excess of the free carry-on baggage allowance (4x36x30 cm). At the same time, another transportation option, according to which you can take on board any items not prohibited for transportation in the cabin, if they fit into the calibrator (36x30x27 cm), will remain.

This is not the first time Pobeda has changed the rules for carrying hand luggage at the request of the Supreme Court. In 2019, the airline set a hand luggage allowance of 10 kg per piece and dimensions of 4x36x30 cm (another transportation option is any number of items of any weight, if in total they pass through a frame of 36x30x27 cm). Later, Pobeda also allowed carrying a laptop without a case in excess of the established carry-on baggage allowance.
