Varshaver, Zbruev and Frandetti opened the season at Lenkom: hip-hop is waiting for the audience

The new chief director will stage the opera in a new musical style for the troupe

Lenkom gathered for its 96th season and for the fourth time without Mark Zakharov. And while the collection was going on, a son was born to the deputy director for artistic and production part Dmitry Kudryashov – the third child in the family. And this was regarded as a good sign for the theater. But everything is in order.

One of the first to enter the theater is Alexander Zbruev. And not just as a master, but as a real leader of the Redskins – with cheers. The age at which he resides is no longer hidden – he is 83. Alexander Viktorovich is a phenomenon not only of Lenkom, but of the entire theatrical Moscow. And everyone is puzzling over this phenomenon – what is the secret of the youth of the “Eternal Boy”? Yes, he is a true paradox – a difficult childhood (he was born in Stalin’s exile, where his mother, as the wife of an enemy of the people, was sent with little Sasha), lives a difficult life, but works, plays and does not lose vitality. He will speak at the gathering and win applause.

And a young actress is sitting next to me, and everything shows that she is a debutante. Yesterday’s GITIS student Nika Chernysheva, pretty, is worried. She must be presented to the troupe. Olesya Zheleznyak enters, tonight she has a premiere – “The Last Train”, where she plays the main role that Faina Ranevskaya once played. They will compare what to say, but Zheleznyak is not afraid. Andrei Mironov, the grandson of the great Andrei Mironov, is also here, but his mother, Maria Mironova, could not be: she was filming. Sergey Stepanchenko is also missing (he asked to go to the festival in Vladivostok), and the beautiful Inna Churikova is missing. After her summer hospital adventures, which, thank God, are now over, the actress is preparing herself for work. Her first appearance on the stage of Lenkom is scheduled for September 12 in the play Lie in Salvation. People’s Deputy Dmitry Pevtsov also managed to attend the collection, not suspecting what awaits him in the final of the general collection.

And the collection itself is opened by the director Mark Varshaver. From now on, according to the order of the Department of Culture of Moscow, “the head (director) of the theater is the sole executive body of the institution, carrying out the current management of its activities.” Translated from bureaucratic into Russian, Mark Borisovich is the most important, and it is he who approves all decisions. So it was, but now it is legal.

We have been without Mark Anatolyevich for three years, – says Mark Varshaver. – How so? How can we answer the viewer today? I thought we had a lot to do.

Mark Borisovich briefly outlines what has been done for the theater (Lenkom, as always, sparkles with cleanliness) and introduces the new chief director Alexei Frandetti to the troupe. The one in a light pink three-piece suit began with a touching declaration of love to Lenkom and Lenkom and assured the artists who listened to him: “I came with love. First of all, I want to give us the opportunity to love each other. Ready to meet everyone. We have been living together for three years, and I want this life to be a pleasure. After all, it is impossible without pleasure, ”Frandetti emphasized. I note that the team greeted him with applause, but in the final made it clear that the guys here are not easy.

Frandetti’s first production will be in the genre of hip-hop opera, and the artists are already beginning to master an unusual musical direction.

Having entered the 96th season, on October 27 Lenkom will celebrate the 95th anniversary of the theater. Collectively prepare something enchanting. Among the new productions – “Old Fashioned Comedy” by Olesya Zheleznyak and Igor Bochkin – the premiere will be played in October. And Alexander Lazarev in February will release “Running” according to Bulgakov. And one more unexpected news – the theatrical group “Hare Moan”, created by young artists under the roof of “Lenkom” several years ago, is preparing its performance. Their performance ended quite a solid event. “Hare Moan” consisting of Kirill Petrov, Maxim Amelchenko, Alexei Polyakov, Vitaly Borovik, as always, wittily walked over his colleagues – Lazarev (how he rehearses), Pevtsov (how cool), director Morfov, whose production the troupe can not wait for. And also to his own address, which is still played by the villagers in The Marriage of Figaro.

The artists applauded the speeches of Alexander Zbruev and producer Valery Yanklovich, high-class professionals who really look at the theatrical process today. Well, in the evening in “Lenkom” they give a premiere – “The Last Train” directed by Anton Yakovlev, who this summer became the artistic director of the Gogol Center, but renamed the Gogol Theater.
