Users have reported issues with OpenVPN, WireGuard, and Terona VPN services. Subscribers of MTS, Beeline, Megafon, Tele2, Yota, Tinkoff Mobile complain about failures.
Terona VPN support reported August 7th: “Some of our customers have experienced difficulty using VPNs since today, especially from mobile devices.”
SecurityLab website writesthat users started complaining about OpenVPN failures since the end of May, and on August 7, a massive failure was recorded at the WireGuard VPN protocol. Terona VPN support believes that the failures are related to “the next wave of blocking by Roskomnadzor.”
Roskomnadzor did not comment on these messages.
