US imposes sanctions on seven Chinese organizations

The US Department of Commerce has blacklisted seven organizations from China that, according to Washington, threatened US national security and worked in the field of military modernization of the Chinese army, informs TASS with reference to the US Federal Register.

“The US government has determined that these organizations are acting against the interests of the national security and foreign policy of the United States,” the document reads. It clarifies that the organizations purchased or attempted to acquire US-made goods “in order to support China’s military modernization efforts.”

In total, the list includes six research institutes and one company. Which organizations were on the list is not specified. Those legal entities that are on the “black list” of the US Department of Commerce are limited to the purchase of American-made goods, as well as goods invented abroad with the participation of the United States or using American technologies.

At the end of June, the US Department of Commerce added to its “black list” five companies from China, which, according to the department, cooperated with the Russian Armed Forces even before the start of the special operation in Ukraine, wrote financial times. Companies included in the list included Connec Electronic, King Pai Technology, Sinno Electronics, Winninc Electronic and World Jetta (HK) Logistics.

On July 9, the US Department of Commerce also introduced 34 foreign companies were included in the “black list”, including six legal entities and individuals from Russia. Among them were Teson, Radiant Group of Companies and Trade Component, as well as Andrey Kuznetsov, Margarita Kuznetsova and Dmitry Kravchenko associated with them.
