The US Department of Commerce has extended export restrictions on Rossiya Airlines by 180 days. This is reported in one of the documents in the electronic base US federal register.
The new document extends the export restrictions decree imposed on Rossiya Airlines on November 15, 2022. The document was signed by Assistant Secretary of Commerce Matthew Axelrod and will be valid until November 12 this year.
Under export restrictions in May 2022, the US deprived Rossiya Airlines for export privileges. The airline has lost the right to participate in transactions subject to US export regulations: it will not be able to purchase parts, carry out maintenance and repair of aircraft in the US, and re-export US goods from third countries.
