Urals oil price up 10% in August 2022

The average price of Urals oil in August this year amounted to $74.73 per barrel, follows from messages Ministry of Finance of Russia. The growth was 10% compared to the same period in 2021.
The price of oil from January to August 2022 reached $82.13 per barrel, in January-August 2021 – $65.10 per barrel.
To reduce Russia’s revenues amid rising energy prices, the G7 countries plan to introduce cap prices for Russian oil as part of new sanctions. How wrote Bloomberg, price limits for Russian oil will be in the range of $40 to $60 per barrel. The Wall Street Journal informedthat the G7 countries this week will agree on a plan to limit prices this week.
