The Ural Bank for Reconstruction and Development (PJSC UBRD) filed a lawsuit with the Arbitration Court of the Sverdlovsk Region against Euroclear Bank SA/NV. The statement of claim was filed today, July 24, a document explaining the essence of the claims, in file cabinet no court cases yet.
This is not the first lawsuit filed after the European depository Euroclear began blocking Russian assets after the start of the military operation.

Also, according to Interfax, in June-July, Roman Prudentov filed a claim in the amount of 57.2 million rubles with the Moscow Arbitration Court, before that the same court received a claim from the management company “First” for 184.8 billion rubles, the Arbitration Court of the Irkutsk Region – from the investment company “Energiya-Invest” for 143.9 million rubles, a lawsuit against Euroclear for $ 28 thousand was filed by an individual entrepreneur Elida Khasan ova.
As of January, Euroclear and another European depository, Clearstream, were blocked assets of Russians for 5.7 trillion rubles. Of these, 20% accounted for the assets of retail investors.
