Russian banks issued credit holidays for 67.5 billion rubles to participants in the military operation and their families. from September 21, 2022 to January 31, 2023. This should from the information bulletin of the Central Bank “Dynamics of restructuring loans to individuals and businesses”.
“According to information received from 44 banks (including all systemically important credit institutions, SZKOs), for the period from September 21, 2022 to January 31, 2023, banks actually provided restructuring for 174.4 thousand loan agreements for military personnel and / or members of their families for a total amount of 67.5 billion rubles,”— says in the document.
From September 21 to December 31, 2022, banks provided restructuring for 167.6 thousand such loan agreements in the amount of RUB 63.6 billion, said in the previous information bulletin of the Central Bank.
Central Bank at the end of September 2022 recommended banks and microfinance organizations to provide credit holidays to mobilized citizens. State Duma accepted relevant law September 28, Federation Council approved its October 4th. The Federal Law, which gives the right to the mobilized, as well as their family members, to apply for credit holidays, came into force on October 7.
