The Moscow cinema “Illusion” presented an application for visually impaired and blind people “Un Certain Regard”, developed as part of the eponymous program of the charitable foundation “Art, Science and Sport”. The program is an online collection of audio commentaries for 150 films. Audio commentary – an additional audio track with a brief description of the characters and actions taking place on the screen – allows visually impaired people to “watch” films both in non-equipped cinemas and at home. Kommersant visited the presentation and learned how the new service works and why it is ahead of social legislation, in which everything needs to be changed.
