Singer Max Barskikh, who was banned from entering Russia for 50 years because of anti-Russian statements, continued to earn a living singing songs in Russian for a long time. For some time, the artist switched to the Ukrainian language, but he failed to find popularity in his homeland. Now the singer has decided to try his hand at writing in English under a new pseudonym.
In his social networks, the once popular artist in Russia announced that he was changing his pseudonym to Mick Sunday and was going to sing in English. He plans to create new pages where he will communicate with those who understand the language.
The artist explains his actions by the fact that he decided to “create the future” today and wants to lead his fans to where “the wildest dreams are possible”. Barskikh admitted that since last year he has been working on a completely English-language album.
As the singer noted in his publication, the creation of new songs supported him and helped him get out of his “depressive mood.” Nevertheless, the media note that Barskikh still continues to perform at corporate parties with his hits in Russian.
