Ukrainian theater and film actor Alexander Kryzhanovsky, known for his roles in the film “The Battle of Sevastopol” and the TV series “The Return of Mukhtar,” died at the age of 67.
“The farewell will take place in Kyiv in the coming days in the place to which he dedicated the last 25 years of his life – the Pechersk Theater. We will announce the date and time later,” the artist’s son Vladimir Kryzhanovsky wrote on his page on the social network Facebook (owned by the Meta corporation, banned and recognized as extremist in the Russian Federation). He clarified that the cause of his father’s death was a heart attack.
Alexander Kryzhanovsky has the title of Honored Artist of Ukraine. He acted and directed in Ukrainian theaters, as well as at the Kiev State Institute of Theater Arts. Played 26 roles in films and TV series.
