UAS operator received a certificate for the provision of services with drones weighing up to 30 kilograms

Drone operator BAS LLC received an air operator certificate, which will allow the company to provide commercial services using UAVs weighing up to 30 kg. BAS plans to start test flights in May after receiving the necessary permits. About it informed State Transport Leasing Company (STLC).
Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) LLC was established in 2022 by STLC together with the National Technology Initiative Foundation. The company is one of the first operators of unmanned aerial systems in Russia.
According to the STLC, the certificate will also allow BAS to carry out aerial photography, monitor objects, carry out various work in the field of agriculture, as well as provide services for the transmission or amplification of communication signals.
BAS submitted an application to the Federal Air Transport Agency for obtaining an air operator certificate on April 26. Currently, the company has contracted 26 drones. BAS intends to lease at least ten more medium and heavy drones by the end of 2023.
