“Multifunctional fighters of the 4++ generation Su-35S underwent a cycle of ground and flight tests in various operating modes and flew from the KnAAZ airfield (Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aviation Plant – ed.) to the place of duty,” the statement said.

The Su-35S is designed to destroy ground and surface targets at any time of the day and in any weather conditions, Rostec said. “This super-maneuverable aircraft can perform a wide range of tasks and has the ability to use the entire range of existing and future aircraft weapons,” emphasized Vladimir Artyakov, First Deputy General Director of the state corporation.

UAC General Director Yuri Slyusar noted that the Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aviation Plant is meeting the needs of the Aerospace Forces (VKS) of the Russian Federation ahead of schedule.

This is not the first delivery of fighter jets to the Ministry of Defense this year. In particular, the state corporation announced deliveries of the first batch of Su-35S in 2023 in June, and the second – in July. At the end of September, Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov announced that UAC conveyed the third batch of aircraft to the Russian Aerospace Forces. The Ministry of Defense has repeatedly noted the work of Su-35S crews in the special operation zone.
