The American corporation Meta (recognized as extremist and banned in Russia) is going to release on July 6 thread application, in functionality and interface reminiscent of Twitter. Users will be able to log in to the new site through their Instagram account.
The company notes that in Threads, users will be able to communicate on current topics, find bloggers from Instagram and correspond with them, as well as share ideas and creativity. As found out in The Vergeat one of Meta’s internal meetings, the company said that now “there is a request from authors and public figures for a platform with adequate leadership.”
Previously, it was precisely the desire of Facebook to make its clone of Twitter led to talk of a possible duel between Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Twitter owner Elon Musk. Twitter sparked controversy when restricted the number of tweets available to view.
