Transcapitalbank filed a claim with the Moscow Arbitration Court against Euroclear Bank for 1.8 billion rubles, should from the court file. The National Settlement Depository (NSD) is indicated as a third party. The essence of the bank’s claims is unknown.
The European depositories Euroclear and Clearstream blocked NSD accounts as part of the sanctions, which is why some of the securities of Russian investors were frozen.
