The trade turnover between Russia and the United Arab Emirates grew by 68% in 2022 and reached a record $9 billion, said Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov.

“Partnership between our countries is developing on the rise, and this positive trend is reflected in the statistics of Russian-Emirates trade. According to our data, in 2022 the trade turnover between Russia and the UAE grew by 68% and reached $9 billion. This is a record level in the history of relations between our countries,” he said (cit. according to RIA Novosti).

According to Manturov, the volume of exports from Russia to the UAE in 2022 reached $8.5 billion, an increase of 71%. At the same time, deliveries from the UAE increased by 6%, to $0.5 billion. Manturov stressed that the UAE retained its first place among the countries of the Arab world in terms of trade with Russia.
