Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank (CB) Ruslan Vesterovsky leaves his post on February 28, informed press service of the Central Bank. Mr. Vesterovsky will go to work at Sberbank.
“Ruslan Vesterovsky was responsible for the most important internal reforms at the Bank of Russia: from the creation of a transparent wage system to the introduction of corporate culture values and principles. Ruslan created the University of the Bank of Russia, where both our employees and market participants are trained, made the procurement system more efficient and open,” said Elvira Nabiullina, Chairman of the Central Bank.
Sberbank reported that Mr. Vesterovsky will take the post of senior vice president, head of the Wealth Management block. Igor Kobzar, who acted as block leader, will continue his career at Sberbank as vice president and general director of Sberbank Life Insurance.
Ruslan Vesterovsky has worked at the Central Bank since 2015. Initially, he served as Director of the HR Policy and Human Resources Department, and since 2017 he has become Deputy Chairman. In October 2018, he was appointed a member of the Board of Directors of the Central Bank.
