According to the deputy minister, the authorities need to support the growing demand with supply. In particular, for this it is necessary to develop the infrastructure and provide it with personnel, as well as to form large resorts and “major points of attraction,” he listed.
Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko saidthat in 2030 it is planned to create year-round sea resorts in the Baltic, Azov, Black, Caspian and Japanese seas in Russia. It is assumed that these resorts will create at least 44 thousand new hotel beds.
In the upcoming velvet season, hoteliers are preparing to lower prices. Tours around the country will become cheaper than August by at least 20%, industry representatives interviewed by Kommersant FM say.
