Russian operators note an increase in weekend tours to Belarus and shopping trips for foreign brands after they leave Russia. About it informs Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR).
“Russians are rediscovering the benefits of holidays in Belarus, and from new angles. Tour operators, in addition to a general recovery of interest in the destination, are paying attention to a sharp increase in demand for weekend tours and shopping trips to a neighboring country. Accordingly, the audience of tourists is also getting younger,” ATOR said.
The ATOR also noted that, despite changes in the consumer preferences of tourists, the main tourist product of Belarus remains a health resort. Belarusian sanatoriums are full until September-October.
After the start of the military special operation in Ukraine, many foreign clothing brands left Russia. Among them are Inditex (Zara, Bershka, Massimo Dutti, Stradivarius, Pull&Bear), H&M, Uniqlo, Mango, Levi’s, Nike and others.
